My name is Anna and I am a counsellor specialising in anxiety.

I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which helps you to see how your thoughts affect your feelings and vice versa. Often we hold beliefs about ourselves or the world that aren’t true which make us feel more fearful and anxious and as we uncover and challenge those beliefs recovery can begin.

I also use Person Centred Counselling which is a form of counselling that enables you to explore your feelings around your past experiences and let go of beliefs that don’t serve you.

There is no right or wrong approach to take – some people want to explore the past and others want to focus on the present – we tailor the sessions to you and what you feel you need.
